Zaytoun is a Community Interest Company based in London which was created to develop a UK market for artisan Palestinian produce. It imports and distributes goods produced by the Palestinian Fair Trade Association and other fair trade producing co-operatives. Since it was founded in 2004 Zaytoun has made some remarkable achievements. It was key organisation driving Palestinian olive oil towards gaining Fairtrade accreditation, which happened in 2009 following a number of years of working with the Fairtade Labelling Organisation.
Zaytoun is a co-operative and member of the International Fair Trade Association and World Fair Trade Organization.
