Bursaries for travel to Palestine

Thanks to the generosity of Olive Co-operative members, supporters and former customers, we are able to announce a new bursary fund for people on low incomes wanting to visit Palestine. The fund is aimed at those who have not visited Palestine in the recent past and who plan to use their experiences to work for a just peace, whether back in the UK or in Palestine and Israel itself. Olive Travel Guidance Notes

Please take a few moments to read our guidance notes on Travel to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories if you are thinking of joining one of our tours. See our guidance notes

The ATG have provided some information about the History & Culture of Palestine.

Guidebooks

Olive Co-op recommend you read ‘Palestine & Palestinians‘ an up to date, comprehensive guidebook published by our partners, the Alternative Tourism Group. Other guidebooks can be useful in giving an idea of the geography and customs of Israel although information on the West Bank can be patchy and out of date.
